A copy of a ship I built on the LU Creation Lab.
The original Blue Shadow is a prototype multipurpose freighter that is armed to the teeth with experimental technologies. With twin Class 0.15 hyperdrives, it's by far the fastest ship in the Galaxy or even the Universe. It's also equipped with several modular weapons systems that can be customized to the pilot's wishes. As if that weren't enough, the turbines on the front and the twin hyperdrive nacelle systems mean it needs neither repulsorlifts nor sublight engines for travel, making the ship nearly untraceable (and of course, the stealth coating on the hull doesn't hurt either), and as yet another added bonus, they allow the ship to operate underwater as well.
The Aoianei-class starfighter takes these powerful features and puts them into a mass-producible starfighter. Though they only have twin Class 0.4 hyperdrives, they have four additional torpedo launchers that, like all the other weapons systems, are completely customizable. The starfighter is also equipped with a small cloaking device, to augment the stealth coating.
Unlike the original, brick-built model (seen in the second picture), the starfighter seen in the main photo and .lxf file are built to minifig scale.While most Aoianei-class starfighters were built for the Phoenix Command Group, a number were sold to the Lunar Mining Corps on Moonbase Alpha for defense against the Piratron...
Note that all translucent parts on the model except the windshield should glow. |
